Woah, that’s a deep question. I can start with my name though, I am Kevin. Born and raised in the Bay Area, I was fortunate enough to be brought up in a diverse community that shaped who I am today.

As a late bloomer, I did all sorts of jobs before completing my degree. I’ve been a cook, a valet, a photo assistant, and even a bouncer! All these experiences taught me that I am good working with people, in all capacities. Once I did decide I wanted to pursue a degree, I chose Sociology because I am fascinated by the way people and communities work. I finished my degree in 2020 and up until early 2023 I was working for the City of Fremont in the Human Services Department.
